Jeff Jacob Ellis Carder, son of Bonnie Fern Freeman and the late Kenneth Lee Carder, was born November 5, 1971, in Springfield, Missouri, and passed away November 16, 2019, at his farm in Douglas County, Missouri. He was 48 years and 11 days of age.
Jeff grew up and attended school in Mountain Grove, and graduated with the Mountain Grove High School class of 1990. Jeff was self-employed most his life, driving a dump truck and doing farm work. Jeff loved the outdoors and his favorite place in the world to be was the farm. He called it “his little piece of heaven”. His daughter, Meagan Nicole, was born on March 6, 2000, and Jeff loved spending time with his family and friends.
Jeff also loved old hot rod cars. He built and restored many old cars, and he was extremely talented at it. He enjoyed taking his cars to the drag strip and also to classic car shows. He was a witness to everyone that he could be. He posted verses on Facebook, and shared the gospel with anyone that he would run in to.
Jeff was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lester and Alta Freeman, and Lester and Edna Carder, his father, Kenneth Carder, and his sister, Sheila Carder.
He is survived by his mother, Bonnie Freeman of Phillipsburg, Missouri, daughter, Meagan Carder of Cabool, Missouri, two sisters, Debbie Carder of Ozark, Missouri, and Donna Sansom of Phillipsburg, Missouri, his fiancé, Venice Evans of Mountain Grove, Missouri, two step-children, Whitney Evans and Hunter Evans of Mountain Grove, Missouri, his half-brother, Wayne Akers of Nampa, Idaho, his half-sister, Ashley Carder of Mountain Grove, Missouri, one niece, Kayla Sansom of Phillipsburg, Missouri, and many other extended family and friends who will miss him.
