Jeannine Miller

August 13, 1933 — January 18, 2008

Jo-Jeannine Miller, daughter of the late George and Flossie (Cole) Cramer, was born on August 13, 1933 in Norwood, Missouri, and departed this life on January 18, 2008 in the St. John’s Regional Health Center in Springfield, Missouri, following a two month illness. She was 74 years, 5 months, and 5 days of age.
Jeannine grew up in the Norwood Community and graduated from Norwood High School in 1952. She was united in marriage to James Roy in 1952. Three sons were born to this union.
Jeannine was employed as a beautician all her life and she owned and operated two shops for several years. She was saved at a young age, and enjoyed crocheting and playing bingo.
She was a longtime member of the local ladies VFW Auxiliary Post 3770 where she held an office for twenty years.
She was united in marriage to Eugene Miller on December 29, 1969 in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He passed away in May of 1983.
Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Alana Roy; and by two brothers: John Cramer and Donnie Cramer.
She is survived by her three sons: Herbert Roy and his wife, Judy, of Del City, Oklahoma, Travis Roy and his wife, Sandy, of Elgin, Oklahoma, and Edward Roy and his wife, Regina, of Mtn. Grove, Missouri; one brother: Ronnie Cramer and his wife, Pat, of Norwood, Missouri; one sister: Maxine McIntosh of Defiance, Ohio; a sister-in-law: Eleanor Cramer of Norwood, Missouri; six grandchildren: Stephanie Hughes, Damon Roy, Amber Davis, T.J. Roy, Bethany Jones, and Jason Roy; ten great-grandchildren: Braidon Hughes, Bryson Hughes, Brock Hughes, Mackenzie Roy, Landon Roy, Brandon Davis, Harley Davis, Kylie Jones, Kayden Jones, and Jacelyn Roy; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her very much.
Memorial services for Jo-Jeannine Miller were held Monday, January 21, 2008, 2:00 M in the Craig-Hurtt Chapel with Rev. Danny Delcour officiating. Song selections were ”Amazing Grace,” and “Old Rugged Cross.” Arrangements were under the direction of the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home, Mtn. Grove, Missouri.
