Jason Dean Slightom

Jason Dean Slightom, Sr., son of John and Michele Wilkinson and Richard Slightom, was born on March 13, 1976 in Springfield, Illinois, and passed away on May 6, 2015 in Mountain Grove, Missouri, at 39 years of age.
Jason grew up in Girard, Illinois, Garland, Texas, and Dardanelle, Arkansas. He spent the last eight years in Mountain Grove, Missouri, where he met and became engaged to Tracy Plemmons, who has three daughters.
Jason had six children: Jason Dean Slightom, Jr. of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Brooklyinn Slightom and Malachi Slightom of Van Buren, Arkansas, Eryn Slightom of Oklahoma, and Cheyenne Slightom and Kasey Slightom of Illinois.
Jason was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association and read his Bible often. He enjoyed working with cars and restoring old trucks. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was loved by all.
Besides his parents, Jason is survived by his grandparents: Henry and Shirley Morgan of Vanzant, Missouri, and Joyce Wilkinson of Girard, Illinois; two sisters: Eugenie Kuster of Mountain Grove, Missouri, and Ashley Slightom of Massachusetts; and one brother: Jeremy Slightom of Illinois. Jason is also survived by his six children, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends.


Memorial Service: Sunday, May 10, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the home of John and Michele Wilkinson, 990 Sunshine Drive, Mtn. Grove.
