Jaqueline Collins

Jaqueline Collins, daughter of the late Moss L. and Thelma (Ousley) Hill, was born on March 27, 1939 in Dora, Missouri, and passed from this life on October 11, 2007 at St. John’s Regional Health Center, Springfield, Missouri, following a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was 68 years, 6 months and 14 days of age.
Jackie grew up in Dora and attended grade school at Odom. She later graduated from Bakersfield High School in 1957. She enjoyed and always looked forward to attending the class reunions. She was united in marriage to Dale Watts on March 9, 1959. Two children were born to this union. Dale and Jackie raised their family in Granby, Missouri.
Jackie owned and operated Bn’ T Loans and Prime-Time Movies in Mtn. Grove and Ava. She enjoyed hunting and fishing, particularly on the North Fork River. She loved spending time with numerous friends and family. Jackie had a very caring spirit which was shown by her support of the Mtn. Grove school district, Relay For Life, and Children’s Miracle Network.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son: Ricky Watts; and by a brother: Thomas Hill.
She is survived by her daughter: Jody Watts; a brother: James Hill; three sisters: Dolores Tole, Priscilla Parks and Josephine Reed; three grandchildren: Eric Watts, Jennifer Morgan and Braxton Arroya; three great-grandchildren: Logan Watts, Braden Watts and Lane Morgan; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Jackie was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be dearly missed.

Funeral services for Jaqueline Collins were held Monday, October 15, 2:00 PM in the Ball Church of Christ with Rev. Don Hamby officiating. Johnny and Darlene Adams and Joel and Linda Smith sang “Precious Memories,” and “Amazing Grace.” Pallbearers were Don McCarty, Mitch Carrol, Eldon Russell, Francis Marler, Thomas Browne and Courtney Snider. Honorary pallbearers were Dale Watts, Eric Watts, Matt Morgan, and Braxton Arroya. Burial was in the Ball Cemetery Dora, Missouri, under the direction of the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home, Mtn. Grove, Missouri.
