Janice Kay Cantrell-Hall, daughter of Carl and Willa Mae (Crewse) Cantrell, was born on December 23, 1961 in Lebanon, Missouri, and departed this life on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at her residence near Plato, Missouri, with her family by her side. She was 51 years, 11 months, and 21 days of age.
Janice grew up and attended school in Plato, Missouri. She had lived in the Plato area most of her life.
She was united in marriage to James “Jim” Harris Hall on February 25, 1993 in Eldon, Missouri. One daughter, Jenna KayAnnMae, was born to this union. The family was also made up of five step-children, Jeremy, Justin, Rachael, Mindy, and Misty. They made their home in the Plato, Missouri area for several years.
Janice worked several jobs throughout her life. She was employed by White Castle Janitorial Services, Beverly Enterprises, Grower Services in Michigan, and she was the Auto Financial and Finance Manager at Lindsey Chrysler/Dodge in St. Robert. She was a volunteer at the Waynesville Nursing Center and she helped in the foundation of PAWS (Pulaski Animal Welfare Shelter). She loved animals of all kinds.
Janice liked to go bowling, play Bingo, cooking and swimming. She enjoyed listening to the Beatles, Joan Jett and Elvis Presley’s gospel music.
She also enjoyed going to Florida to Wes and Nana Hall’s and getting to swim in the ocean.
Janice was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved spending time with her family and visiting with her many friends. She will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Janice was saved at an early age and was very dedicated in her religious beliefs.
She was preceded in death by her mother: Willa Mae Cantrell.
She is survived by her husband, Jim, and their daughter, Jenna, of the home; five step-children: Jeremy Johnson, Justin Johnson, Mindy McKinnon, and Misty Obermark, all of Lebanon, Missouri, and Rachael Goodrich of Ann Arbor, Michigan; her father: Carl Cantrell of Plato, Missouri; one brother: Lyle Dean Cantrell and his wife, Paula, of Plato, Missouri; one sister: Judy Ryan and her husband, Korey, of St. Robert, Missouri; fifteen grandchildren; one soon to be great-grandchild; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Friday, December 20, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Roby Baptist Church in Roby, Missouri.
Visitation:
Thursday, December 19, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Roby Baptist Church in Roby, Missouri.
