Janice Karen (Rupe) Page, daughter of the late Richard and Merle (Harder) Rupe, was born on July 16, 1935 in Sioux City, Iowa and departed this life on December 22, 2015 at her home in Norwood, Missouri. She was 80 years, 5 months, and 6 days of age.
When Janice was a very young child, her family moved to Montpier, Iowa where she grew up and graduated high school. She married Wayne Page on November 3, 1951 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Six children were born to this union.
Family was important to Janice. She devoted her life to taking care of her husband and raising her children. She greatly enjoyed all of the family get-togethers.
Besides her husband and her parents, Janice was preceded in death by one brother: Jerry Rupe.
Janice is survived by her six children: Craige Gheer of Durant, Iowa, Judy Herlein (Garry Simms) of Davenport, Iowa, Jerry Page of Mountain Grove, Missouri, Jeffrey, and Rick Page, both of Norwood, Missouri, and Randy Page (Linda) of Humboldt, Iowa; one brother: Raymond Rupe of Davenport, Iowa; seven grandchildren: Bryan Green (Tonya) of Davenport, Iowa, Brad Herlein of Letts, Iowa, Tyson Gheer of Eldridge, Iowa, Jan Boggs and Cody Page, both of Mountain Grove, Missouri, Justin Rupe of Humboldt, Iowa, and Seth Page of Roswell, Georgia; five great-grandchildren: Devin and Trevor Gheer of Eldridge, Iowa, Keryera and Karissya Cash of Des Moines, Iowa, and Eaton Page of Mountain Grove, Missouri, and many other family and friends who will miss her dearly.
