Janet Sue Miller

Janet Sue (Carder) Miller, daughter of Lester and Edna (Carder) Carder was born on December 31, 1963 in Mountain Grove, Missouri and departed this life on April 18, 2015 at her home in Mountain Grove, Missouri. She was 51 years, 3 months, 18 days of age.
Janet was raised in Mountain Grove and attended Mountain Grove Schools. She was united in marriage to Bob Miller on January 14, 1983. Three children were born to this union: Ricky, Johnny, and Jessica.
During her lifetime, Janet worked at Brown Shoe Company, Fordick, local nursing homes, and the Mountain Grove Bowling Alley. She enjoyed being around people, especially the teenagers while working at the bowling alley.
Janet enjoyed riding horses and driving her team and wagon. She loved to go camping, and spending time at the lake on a pontoon boat. Janet enjoyed going to thrift stores, gardening, and spending time by the pool. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family at family dinners, especially her grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Janet was preceded in death by one son: Johnny Ray Miller; two brothers: Ronald Carder and Kenneth Carder; and one sister: Imogene Carder.
She is survived by her loving husband: Bob Miller of the home; one son: Ricky Carder and Amanda Larson, of Mountain Grove, Missouri; one daughter: Jessica Dawson and her husband, Rick, of Mountain Grove, Missouri; one brother: Gary Carder and his wife, Pam, of Norwood, Missouri; two sisters: Geraldine Volner and her husband, Ulas, of Mountain Grove, Missouri, and Loretta Stout and her husband, Rick, of Drury, Missouri; and seven grandchildren: Cody Carder, Lance Carder, Whitney Maggard, Autumn Carder, Kolton Carder, Tyler Madden, and Kierra Madden.


Visitation: Tuesday, April 21, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Almost Home Ministries.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Almost Home Ministries.

Burial: Green Mountain Cemetery
