James Raymond Cannon

James Raymond Cannon, son of James A. and Lou S. (Sanders) Cannon, was born July 4, 1967, in Cocoa Beach, Florida, and passed away November 29, 2017, at his residence in Mountain Grove, Missouri. He was 50 years, 4 months, and 25 days of age.

James was a graduate of Mountain Grove High School with the class of 1985. He joined the United States Navy on October 24, 1988, and was honorably discharged on September 12, 1991. After being discharged, he returned to Mountain Grove.

He liked working in construction, especially building houses and doing remodeling jobs. He loved guns and fast cars. James was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Mountain Grove. His faith was important to him and he read his Bible faithfully. James loved God and his country.

James is preceded in death by a son, David Gloth.

He is survived by a son, George Cannon of Mattoon, Illinois, his parents, Jim and Lou Cannon, his sister, Jackie Freeman and her husband, John, two nieces, Treshia Kincaid and Brittnee Byerley all of Mountain Grove, and many other relatives and friends who will greatly miss him.
