James Randall Mincks, son of James Alva Mincks and Sue (Ince) Russell, was born June 18, 1963, in Marshfield, Missouri, and passed away December 13, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. He was 58 years, 5 months, and 25 days of age.
Randall grew up in the Seymour area. On March 12, 1984, he married Nancy “Janie” Flynn. James worked in the logging industry most of his life. He also operated heavy equipment and was a great mechanic.
He didn’t know a stranger and Randall lived life to the fullest. He loved listening to music, singing and dancing. He enjoyed fishing and driving down dirt roads stopping along the way to visit with his closest friends.
Randall was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be truly missed by his family and all that knew and loved him.
Randall is survived by his wife, Janie Mincks, of the home in Seymour, Missouri, three sons, Cody Mincks and his wife, Kelsey, of Diggins, Missouri, Corey Mincks of Springfield, Missouri, and J.R. Mincks and his wife, Amy, of Bolivar, Missouri, four daughters, Jessica Zimmerman of Hartville, Missouri, Cristin Zimmerman of Skyline, Missouri, Jessica High of Springfield, and Cassie Mincks, and her significant other, Bert Munden, of Mansfield, Missouri, his mother and step-father, Sue and Danny Russell of Seymour, his father and step-mother, James and Pauline Mincks of Fordland, Missouri, four brothers, Jimmy Mincks of Seymour, Jeff Mincks and his wife, Melissa, of Fordland, Lucas Russell of Seymour, and Lee Russell of Seymour, two sisters, Lisa Holladay and her husband, Brian, of Fordland, and Angie Kelly and her husband, Jerry, of Pittsburg, Missouri, twenty-four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
