Jackie Darlene Mitchell

Jackie Darlene Mitchell, daughter of the late Carlos Fay and Dorothy (Lucas) Mitchell was born on February 1, 1960 in Mtn. Grove, Missouri and departed this life on March 4, 2009 at her residence in Mansfield, Missouri. She was 49 years, 1 month and 3 days of age.
Jackie grew up and attended school in Mtn. Grove. She graduated from Mtn. Grove High School in 1978. She worked at Brown Shoe Company for several years until they closed. She attended nursing school and became an LPN and worked as a nurse for ten years. Because of her health, she became disabled.
Jackie enjoyed being outdoors tending to her flower and vegetable gardens. She also enjoyed spending time with her dogs.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers: Johnnie Mitchell, Freddie Mitchell, Roy Mitchell, Gary Mitchell, Gaylord Mitchell and Terry Mitchell; and by one sister: Mary Charpentier.
She is survived by three brothers: Darrell Mitchell and his wife, Nadine, of Blue Springs, Missouri, Robert Mitchell and his wife, Sonja, of Norwood, Missouri and Glenn Mitchell of Mansfield, Missouri; one sister: Barbara Burdick and her husband, Roy, of Hartville, Missouri; several nieces; nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her very much.
