Jack Clifford “Buc” Wheat, age 52, was born in Twin Falls, Idaho on December 23, 1958 to B.E. “Jack” and Lyda (Sloan) Wheat. He passed away suddenly on July 31, 2011 at his residence in Mtn. Grove, Missouri.
Jack graduated with the Dora High School class of 1977. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, 4-wheelers, and horses. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He lived and worked all his life around the Vanzant and Mtn. Grove areas. He was currently employed with the Whetstone Veterinary Clinic of Mtn. Grove.
Jack was preceded in death by a nephew: Ryan Kutz; a brother-in-law: Bill Turnbull; his paternal grandparents; his maternal grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.
Survivors include his son: Michael Wheat and wife, Brandy, of Virginia Beach, Virginia; his parents: B.E. “Jack” and Lyda Wheat of Vanzant, Missouri; three sisters: Marcia Turnbull of Mansfield, Missouri, Sherry Pennell and husband, Monty, of Dallas, Texas, Pam Blankenship and husband, D.J., of Springfield, Missouri; his girlfriend: Dawn Stine of Mtn. Grove, her two sons and their families; three nieces: Angela Parker, Jennifer Cudworth, and Nicole Sauceda; four great-nieces: Natosha Parker, Samantha Parker, Patience Hackett, and Kambre Sauceda; one great-nephew: Roy Parker.
Jack will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
