Iva Elizabeth (Keys) Hutson, daughter of the late Leonard and Bessie (Shields) Keys, was born August 17, 1933, at the family home in Wright County, Missouri. Iva was one of twelve children. She passed away January 27, 2018, at Glenwood Healthcare in Seymour, Missouri, at 84 years, 5 months, and 10 days of age.
Iva married Troy R. Hutson, Sr. on December 18, 1951, in Mountain Grove, Missouri. Five children were born to this union. Iva enjoyed being a housewife and caring for her family. One of her favorite activities was mowing the lawn.
Troy spent twenty years in the United States Air Force. This allowed the family the opportunity to live in California, Florida, Indiana, Texas, Japan, England, France, and Spain. They retired in 1968, returned to the states, and moved to Rogersville, Missouri. In 1971 they moved to Mansfield, Missouri, and then moved to Mountain Grove in 1985. After Troy passed away, Iva returned to Mansfield.
Iva attended Cedar Gap Baptist Church. During the last three years, she attended Norwood United Methodist Church.
Besides her parents and her husband, Iva was preceded in death by her brothers, Eldon L., Ray H., Donald E., Paul H., and Dean Keys.
She is survived by her five children, John Hutson and his wife, Jan, of Mansfield, Missouri, James Hutson and his wife, Debbie, of Cedar Gap, Missouri, Joyce Adamson and her husband, Keith, of Mansfield, Missouri, Robert Hutson and his wife, Markie, of Victoria, Australia, Jennifer Chappell and her husband, Steve, of Rowlett, Texas, ten grandchildren, Cheree Jubin, Tracy Hutson and his wife, Jean, J.W. Hutson and his wife, Sheena, Amanda Young and her husband, Mike, Melanie Robertson and her husband, Rodney, Chrystal Hughes and her husband, Ben, Bobby Hutson, Jackie Edwards, Dustin Chappell and his wife, Emily, and Danita Knight and her husband, Chris, twenty-one great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, five brothers, Edward E. Keys, Joel L. Keys and his wife, Connie, Walter D. Keys and his wife, Linda, Roy "Mac" Keys and his wife, Vickie, C. Darrell Keys and his wife, Myrna, one sister, Julie M. Burtchett and her husband, Bill, one sister-in-law, Linda Keys, many nieces, nephews, and other relatives, friends, and church family who will miss her dearly.
