Hurley Emerson Reese

Hurley E Reese Sr., 73, Elkton, MO passed away July 3, 2016 surrounded by family at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO after an extended illness. He was born in Limestonville, PA to Russell Lewis Reese and Margaret Nellie Reese (Kingston) on September 2, 1942.
Hurley served in the United States Marine Corps in 1960. He spent most of his life working as an over the road truck driver, but also worked in construction and other assorted fields. He was a 33rd degree Mason and a member of the Western Cherokee Nation of Arkansas and Missouri.
Hurley was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Frederick Reese and Sidney Reese and wife Susan K Reese. He is survived by his sister Becky DeWald and husband Jim, Danville, PA, sister Clara Smith and husband Harry, Elkton, MO, children Hurley Reese Jr., Berwick PA, son Robert Reese and wife Erin, Bolivar, MO, daughter Jennifer Reese and fiance James Nixdorf, Springfield, MO, daughter Amanda Hilton and husband Matthew, New Cumberland, PA, daughter Christine Hawkins and husband Jason, Seattle, WA. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, multiple nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
