Helen Nelson

Helen Lavench Nelson, daughter of the late Jesse and Clara (Arnold) Williams, was born June 3, 1935 in Dawson, Missouri, and departed this life September 27, 2018 in Papillion, Nebraska. She was 83 years, 3 months, and 24 days of age.

Helen was united in marriage to Charles Eugene Nelson on November 3, 1951. Seven children were born to this union. Mr. Nelson passed away September 26, 1971.

Besides her parents, Helen was preceded in death by two sons, Roger and Johnny Nelson, one brother, Lawrence Williams, one sister, Shirley Delcour, three brothers-in-law, Jim Nelson, Jon Nelson and Verbal Delcour, and four sisters-in-law, Juanita Smith, Winnie Nelson, Letta Williams and Pauline Williams.

Helen is survived by three sons, Charles Nelson and wife, Cathy, of Austin, Texas, Lawrence Nelson and wife, Lana, of Rogersville, Missouri, and Bob Nelson and wife, Joyce, of Springfield, Missouri, two daughters, Carol Ault and husband, David, of Bellevue, Nebraska and Shirley Todd and husband, Larry, of Davisville, Missouri, two brothers, Jesse Junior Williams of Kansas City, Missouri, and Ralph Williams of Idaho, one sister-in-law, Maude Campbell of Mountain Grove, Missouri, twenty-two grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and many other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
