Harold "Pete" Petro

Harold W. “Pete” Petro, 76, of Mountain Grove, Missouri, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 3, 2019 at his home while surrounded by many of his loved ones. Pete was born October 27, 1943 to Harold Petro, Jr. and Mary Alice (Shirley) Petro in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Pete grew up in Indianapolis and eventually relocated to Ava, Missouri, and then to Mountain Grove, Missouri. On May 14, 1977 he was united in marriage to Shara Ann “Sally” Duckworth and together they raised six sons.

Sally preceded Pete in death on February 5, 2013. Others preceding him in death include his father and mother and one grandson, Chris Petro.

Survivors include four sons, Harold W. Petro, Jr., Allen Petro, Brian Petro, and Robert Petro, two step-sons, Ronald Dodd and James Dodd, thirteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one brother, Larry Petro, and two sisters, Linda (Petro) Stahl and Betty (Petro) Mercer.
