Harless Lewis Hill, son of the late Lee Randolph and Mary Frances (Butterworth) Hill, was born on January 25, 1950 in Kanawha County, West Virginia, and passed away suddenly on January 21, 2014 in Mtn. Grove, Missouri, at 63 years of age.
Harless grew up in West Virginia and attended school in Cedar Grove. He moved to Indiana where he met and married Judith Ann Pruitt on July 19, 1986. They raised four children.
Harless worked for Dexter Axle in Elkhart, Indiana for several years. They later moved to the Mtn. Grove area where Harless was employed by S&S Recycling for over ten years. He enjoyed his job and his friends at S&S.
Harless liked being outdoors and over the years, he enjoyed fishing, doing yard work, and gardening.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers: David, Roger, Bob, Ray and Terry Hill.
He is survived by his wife: Judith Ann Hill; three sons: Randy Hill of Illinois, Matthew Hill and his wife, Toni, and Lewis Hill and his wife, Joanna, all of Cabool, Missouri; one daughter: Lucinda Hill and her companion, Johnny, of Edwardsburg, Michigan; one brother: Tony of Indiana; four sisters: Kay, Alice, Charlotte, and Ruby; six grandchildren; and other relatives, neighbors and friends who will sadly miss him.
