Grace Michelle Stover, daughter of Frank Jones and Ruth (Gilmore) Wallace was born June 9, 1963, and departed this life December 14, 2024, in her mother’s home near Mansfield, Missouri, at the age of 61 years, 6 months, and 5 days.

 She was united in marriage to Jim Stover on November 8, 1989. She was preceded in death by her father; husband, Jim; grandson, Jimmy three brothers, Kenneth, Andrew, and Mike Jones; sister, Cindy Shelton; brother-in-law- Rex Hastings; three sisters-in-law, Sherry Jones, Lucy Jones, and Sharon Jones; two nephews, Brian Cannon and KC Jones; and best pal, her dog “Buddy”.

 Grace is survived by two sons, Jimmy Stover of Chicago, Illinois, and Dion Stover of Indiana; mother and step-father, Ruth and Don Wallace of Mansfield; four brothers, James Jones of Hartville, Missouri, Giles Jones, Russell Wallace and Jim Wallace and wife, Karen, all of Mansfield, Missouri; two sisters, Lisha Wallace and husband, Bob, of Rock Port, Missouri, and Valerie Hastings of Mansfield, Missouri; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

 Grace was born in Oklahoma and moved with her family to Mansfield in 1963. She was a graduate of Mansfield High School in the Class of 1982. She lived with Michelle Von Behren, Connie Dotson, Rhonda Dotson and worked at Emerson Electric in Ava until she married Jim and moved to Trimble, Missouri. She owned and operated a bar in Edgerton, Missouri called “Gracie’s Bar” for many years.

 In her spare time, she enjoyed riding horses, fishing, playing cards, and hanging out with family and friends. 

 Grace enjoyed life to the fullest, and everyone that met her loved her. She would open up her business every year on Thanksgiving to feed people that didn’t have anywhere to go. There will never be another one like her because she was one of a kind, she touched everyone that she met. She HATED cartoons and LOVED the Kansas City Chiefs and was ready to meet her Savior Jesus Christ.

 Grace was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and a caring friend. She loved all the kids, especially her nieces and nephews and enjoyed aggravating her pal and great-niece, Candace, whom she spent many hours with. Grace will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

 A Celebration of Life will be held in June 2025. The day, time, and place of the celebration will be released in May 2025.
