Glen Casey, son of the late Joe and Sally (Stewart) Casey, was born April 12, 1924, in Longmont, Colorado, and passed away April 7, 2020, at Autumn Oaks Caring Center in Mountain Grove, Missouri. He was 95 years, 11 months, and 26 days of age.
Glen moved with his family to a farm in Dawson, Missouri, in 1926, where he grew up. At the age of nineteen he joined the United States Navy and served during World War II. He was stationed in Australia, where he was a guard for General Douglas MacArthur headquarters.
Glen married Golda (Stallcup) Coble on October 4, 1956, in Hartville, Missouri. With this union he gained two sons, Roger and Raymond. They lived on a farm on Beaver Creek, where Glen enjoyed farming, taking care of his cattle and tractors. He especially enjoyed brush hogging. He was a believer in Christ and was baptized in Beaver Creek near his home.
Besides his parents, Glen was preceded in death by his loving wife, Goldie, two brothers, Wayne Casey and Loy Carre.
He is survived by two sons, Roger Harrison and his wife, Peggy, and Raymond Harrison and his wife, Henri, all of Mountain Grove, three sisters, Rebecca Webb and Dorothy Dowden, both of Mountain Grove, and Velma Wolfe of Lebanon, Missouri, six grandchildren, Michelle, Richard, Robert, Rhonda, Tracy, and Debbie, two step grandchildren, Kim and Brad, twelve great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends who will miss him very much.
