Gerald “Jerry” Allen Stillwell went to be with Jesus February 22, 2020, at his home surrounded by his family at the age of 68.
Jerry was born June 22, 1951, to Gerald & Julia Stillwell, at their home on the family farm south of Mountain Grove. As a teenager, he accepted Jesus as his savior and recently had been attending Pleasant Home Free Will Baptist Church.
Jerry married his high school sweetheart, Brenda Coble, on May 28, 1971. From this union three children were born, Scott, Ty, and Kamber.
Jerry worked as a dairy farmer and was employed at Tindle Mills for 28 years where he made many lifelong friends. More recently he and Brenda raised dogs and enjoyed life on the farm.
Jerry loved fishing for trout and camping. One of his greatest joys was watching his grandkids in all of their many activities. He was their #1 fan. As much as he loved his family, Jerry loved Jesus more and has passed that legacy down to his kids and grandkids.
Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Stillwell and his sister, Shirley Rodgers.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda, of 48 years, mother, Julia Stillwell, son, Scott Stillwell and wife, Kristi, son, Ty Stillwell, daughter, Kamber Beller and husband, Rance, grandchildren, Taylor Cannon and husband, Zach, Nolan Stillwell and wife, Grace, Logan Stillwell and wife, Kendra, Kaitlen Kelley and husband, Cody, Zach Beller, and Dausten Luck, great-grandchildren Noah and Viola Cannon, sister, Tabby Unger and husband, Matt, sister-in-law, Ilene Woods, brother-in-law, Joe Coble and wife, Patti, along with extended family and many, many friends.
