George Avery Fagan

George Avery Fagan, son of the late Ralph and Ruth (Fletcher) Fagan, was born on June 28, 1948 in Norwood, Missouri, and departed this life on July 12, 2009 at his residence in Mtn. Grove, Missouri. He was 61 years of age.
George was raised in the Wright County area and graduated in 1966 from Norwood High School. Following school, George served his country in the United States Army and toured Vietnam. He later worked and retired from General Motors as an autoworker on the assembly line.
George loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing. He was an avid Chiefs and Cardinals fan and rarely missed a game.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers: Joe, Jim and Fred Fagan. He is survived by nine brothers: Jack, Jerry, Tom, Richard, Carl, Donald, Ronald, Charlie, and Arlie Fagan; numerous nieces and nephews; cousins; many other relatives and friends that will miss him.
