Gene Cross

Gene Dale Cross, son of the late Eugene and Josephine (Edgemond) Cross, was born April 27, 1952, in Houston, Missouri, and departed this life March 17, 2021, at his home in Mountain Grove, Missouri, at the young age of 68 years.

Besides his parents, Gene was preceded in death by one sister, Frances Hawkins.

Gene is survived by two daughters, Sherri Lanoue of Dublin, California, and Annette Cross of Chillicothe, Missouri, three sons, Dale Cross of Licking, Missouri, Curtis Anderson and Francis Anderson, both of Illinois, eight grandsons, Zach Hansen and Reno Hansen of Mountain View, Missouri, Michael, Landon, Jase, and Jude, all of Illinois, Nicholas Tooley and Alex Anderson, both of California, four granddaughters, Tiffani Hansen of Iowa, Brie, Kashmir, and Harper, all of Illinois, three great-grandchildren, Winston, Nevada, and Zeiyana, ex-wife, Joann Cross of Illinois, two sisters, Elaine of Houston, Missouri, and Bonnie of Springfield, Missouri, two brothers, Winfred of Mountain View, Missouri, and Mike of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, nieces, nephews, and many other loved ones. Gene will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorial services for Gene Cross will be held at a later date.
