Gary Ray Luckey

Gary Ray Luckey, son of the late Lawrence A. and Mary R. (Havens) Luckey, was born September 19, 1958, in Houston, Missouri. He passed away November 18, 2024, at his home in Elkland, Missouri, at the age of 66.

Gary enjoyed woodworking, watching deer from his porch, and fishing. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan.

Besides his parents, Gary was preceded in death by one son, Brandon Luckey; and one sister, Connie Fellers.

Gary is survived by the love of his life, Verna Armknecht; three sons, Gary Luckey, Allen Luckey, and Landon Luckey; two daughters, Amanda Jackson and Chasity Henderson; two sisters, Terenna McLean and husband, John, and Bonnie Rogers; sixteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends who will miss him greatly.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations for a grave marker be made to the funeral home.
