Gary Eugene Stigall

Gary Eugene Stigall, son of the late William Elmer and Pansy (Key) Stigall, was born on November 27, 1953 in Springfield, Missouri and departed this life on December 20, 2008 at his home in Mtn. Grove, Missouri following a long illness. He was 55 years and 23 days of age.
Gary grew up in Wright County and was united in marriage to Jackie Long on August 13, 1982. Four children were born to this union. They made their home and raised their family in the Mtn. Grove area. Gary drove a truck for many years until he became disabled.
He enjoyed being outdoors, especially when fishing and hunting for deer and squirrel. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. One of his favorite pastimes was to visit with his friends in the local coffee shops.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be truly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Gary was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Mtn. Grove and enjoyed attending services as long as his health permitted.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Lonnie Stigall; and by an infant sister: Patricia Stigall.
He is survived by his loving wife: Jackie Stigall of their home; one son: Shane Stigall and his wife, Kim, of Norwood, Missouri; three daughters: Stephanie Lahammer and her husband, Josh of Falcon, Missouri, Amanda Pridemore and her husband, Zach, and Kayla Stigall, all of Mtn. Grove; one brother: Larry Stigall and his wife, Kim, of Mtn. Grove; one sister: Evelyn Gray and her husband, Don, of Manes, Missouri; six grandchildren: Izabell, Devon, and Rili Stigall, Emilee Pridemore, and Malachi and Cadie Martin; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at 10:00 AM in the Craig-Hurtt Chapel.
Visitation:
Monday, December 22, 2008 from 7:00 - 8:00 PM in the Chapel.
