Freda Mishler

Freda Lavina (Christner) Mishler - Born September 4, 1934, to David and Caroline (Burkholder) Christner - Departed this life on June 6, 2023, at the age of 88 years, 9 months, and 2 days.

She was united in marriage to Mose J. Mishler on June 30, 1957. They shared the joys and sorrows of life for nearly 58 years, until his passing on April 7, 2015. They lived in Indiana for 11 years, moving to Missouri in February of 1969.

God blessed their home with five sons and two daughters: David (Darlene Miller) of Wakarusa, Indiana, Conrad (Deceased), Bruce (Regina Stutzman) of Punta Gorda, Belize, John (Carla Weaver) of Seymour, Missouri, Arlis (Teresa Krabill) of Brownsville, Oregon, Jewel (Ron Hostetler) of Seymour, Missouri, and Twila (David Ramer) of Seymour, Missouri. She has 33 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mose J. Mishler, a son, Conrad, and a granddaughter, Larissa Mishler (Bruce), two sisters, Edna and Viola, and three brothers, Jonas, Elmer, and John, and her parents, David and Caroline Christner.

She was a faithful disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ and an example of serving others. She was lovingly cared for in her home by her daughter, Twila Ramer, and family, for the past three years. She was under Hospice care since October 2022.  The last four days she suffered from a stroke that caused her to be bedfast and affected her communication.

We, as a family, want to express appreciation to our church family for prayer support, meals, and visits before and during her passing.
