Francis Carder

Francis Carder, daughter of the late Clifford and Sadie (Sluder) Rhodes, was born on November 28, 1942 in Mountain Grove, Missouri. She was 70 years, 11 months, and 17 days old when she went to join her family in Heaven on November 15, 2013, after a long, hard fought battle with cancer.
Francis grew up in Mountain Grove, Missouri where she settled down and had her four children. She spent her days with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and three dogs who were the joys of her life. She loved collecting angels, watching the hummingbirds, and attending Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Francis is survived by two daughters: Debbie Mackey and husband, Alvin, of Mountain Grove, and Sherry Shannon and husband, Ron, of Mountain Grove; two sons: Clifford Akers and wife, Tina, of Melba, Idaho, and Wayne Akers and wife, Lorie, of Nampa, Idaho; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends who loved her dearly. Francis will be sadly missed as we all know she is now in a better place.
