Fern Wallace

Fern Marie Wallace, 84, of Wichita Falls, went to her Heavenly home on Sunday, June 12, 2016.
Fern was born on August 22, 1931, in Wright County, Missouri, to the late Orville and Pearl Massey. On December 23, 1950, she married Ray Wallace. Fern and Ray lived on a farm in Bucyrus before moving to Mtn. Grove. She was a dedicated prayer warrior for her family and friends and attended Calvary Temple while in Mt. Grove. Later, Fern lived with her daughter, Debbie Arthur, in Wichita Falls, Texas, and eventually moved into The Gables Nursing Home.
Along with her parents, Fern was also preceded in death by her husband, Ray Wallace, and her sister, Ruby Postelwait.
She is survived by a son, Larry Wallace and wife, Diane, of Springfield, MO; a daughter, Debbie Arthur and husband, Jerry, of Wichita Falls; a sister, Wilma Blackburn of Mtn. Grove, MO; a brother, Lonnie Massey of Buckner, MO; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.


Visitation: Wednesday, June 15, 2016, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the Craig-Hurtt Chapel.

Graveside Funeral Service: Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at 11:30 AM at Hopewell Cemetery.

Burial: Hopewell Cemetery
