Ferlin Lee McCall, son of the late Raymond Noah and Maxine Elizabeth (Freeman) McCall, was born on April 14, 1955, in Cabool, Missouri, and departed this life on August 11, 2015, in Mountain Grove, Missouri. He was 60 years, 3 months, and 28 days of age.
Ferlin was raised in the Mountain Grove area. He was very mechanical and loved working on almost anything. He enjoyed riding motorcycles with his friends. Ferlin loved to host family gatherings, especially at Christmas time. He enjoyed being outdoors, going gigging, and raising some farm animals, especially pigs. Ferlin always went above and beyond to help others with anything they needed. He was saved and baptized at an early age. Ferlin will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Ferlin was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by one son: Arty Hultz of Mountain Grove, Missouri; one daughter: Jenny Watson and her husband, Nick, of Mountain Grove, Missouri; two brothers: Dale Vandiver of Mountain Grove, Missouri, and Leroy McCall and his wife, Lisa, of Mountain Grove, Missouri; five sisters: Earcille Hash and her husband, Harold, of Lebanon, Missouri, Elpha Loper and her husband, Ronnie, of Cabool, Missouri, Edith Westfall of Mountain Grove, Missouri, Joyce Bitick and her husband, Gene, of Carthage, Missouri, and Juanita Bennett and her husband, Marvin, of Mansfield, Missouri; three grandchildren: Ashlynne Garner and her husband, Randy, Jake Hultz, and Abby Hultz; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
