Evelyn Louise Sutton

Evelyn Louise Sutton, daughter of the late Raymond and Ruby (Scott) Peacock, was born December 19, 1942, in Lawrence, Kansas. Evelyn left this world to be with Jesus on June 28, 2018, at her home in West Plains, Missouri.

Evelyn married Larry Ray Sutton on March 18, 1959, in Mountain Grove, Missouri, at the Lone Star Church. She professed to be a Christian after giving her heart to Jesus as a young girl.

Evelyn loved cooking, baking and sewing. She especially loved her flowers. She will be greatly missed by many.

Besides her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by two sisters, one brother, and one son, Larry Ray Sutton Jr.

Evelyn is survived by her husband, Larry Ray Sutton, of the home, five sons, Raymond Ray Sutton and wife, Debi, of West Plains, Missouri, Rodney Sutton and wife, Luella, of Lynchburg, Missouri, Freddie Sutton and wife, Debbie, of Lynchburg, Missouri, Joseph “Joe” Sutton of Lebanon, Missouri, Robert Sutton and wife, Ann, of Lebanon, Missouri, a host of family, friends, nieces, nephews, and most beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The Sutton family wishes to thank Riverways Hospice Team for their care and compassion and Cabool Assembly of God for helping with food and serving the family prior to the service.
