Ernest Lloyd Moore, 94, of Edwardsville, Kansas, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2020. The family will have a Private Viewing at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, Kansas.

Private Family Graveside Funeral Service will be 2:00pm Thursday, April 16, in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Norwood, Missouri, under the direction of Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Prairie Meadows Church 426 Emerson Ave., Bonner Springs, KS 66012 or at www.prairiemeadowschurch.com.

Lloyd Ernest Moore was born January 3, 1926, in Norwood, Missouri, and has lived in the Edwardsville area since 1968. He was very active in his church his entire life, becoming an ordained deacon in 1954 and serving the church in that capacity until his death. Lloyd was a member of the Prairie Meadows Free Will Baptist Church in Bonner Springs, Kansas.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Moore, his sons, Larry Moore and Duane Moore, his brother, Lowell Moore, his sister, Eva Babcock, his step-brothers, Clyde Hill and Leo Hill and his brother-in-law, Frank Fletcher.

Lloyd is survived by daughter, Janet Warden and her husband, Tony, of Bonner Springs, KS, daughter-in-law Donna Moore of Edwardsville, Kansas, daughter-in-law, Rose Moore of Independence, Missouri, brother-in-law, Bill Fletcher of Clovis, California, six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
