Eddie Noah Rader

Eddie Noah Rader, son of the late Gordon and Dorothy (Strunk) Rader, was born on May 8, 1943 in Wright County, Missouri, and departed this life on April 23, 2014 at his residence south of Mtn. Grove, Missouri, in Douglas County. He was 70 years, 11 months, and 15 days.

Eddie grew up in Wright County on Fox Creek. He was united in marriage to Phyllis Kimball on July 17, 1965. Together they raised five children.

Eddie enjoyed being outdoors, especially when hunting, fishing, and farming. He was a beef farmer for many years and he also operated a sawmill.

He enjoyed visiting and spending time with his family, friends, and neighbors. He will be truly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister: Marcella Kiser; and by one brother: Erval Rader.

He is survived by his wife: Phyllis Rader of their home; three sons: Jack Burke, Dale Rader, and David Rader, all of Mtn. Grove; two daughters: Sandra Frederick of Highlandville, Missouri, and Laura Peek and her husband, Arnold, of Nashville, Tennessee; two brothers: Jack Rader and his wife, Christine, of Mtn. Grove, and George Rader and his wife, Beverly, of Pomona, Missouri; one sister: Louise West and her husband, Mac, of Mtn. Grove; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and other relatives.
