Dwight Charles Tate Jr., son of Dwight Sr. and Linda (Gordon) Tate, was born on September 26, 1961 in Indianapolis, Indiana and departed this life on January 26, 2011 in the Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, Missouri, following a long illness at 49 years of age.
Dwight grew up and attended school in Missouri, Kansas and Arizona. He was united in marriage to Paula Mullins on December 31, 1999 in Bull Head City, Arizona. They had been together for thirty-one years. Six children were born to this union.
Dwight lived several years in Arizona and owned and operated his own construction business. He enjoyed building houses, racing cars, and he was an avid Ozzie Osborn fan.
He and his wife, Paula, moved to Mtn. Grove a few years ago to be near his family.
He was preceded in death by one sister: Laura Wells.
He is survived by his loving wife: Paula Tate of their home; three sons: Dwight Tate III, William Tate, and Zachary Tate; three daughters: Danielle Tate, Cheryl Tate and Jennifer Tate, all live in or around Casa Grande, Arizona; his parents: Dwight Sr. and Linda Tate of Mtn. Grove; two sisters: Kim Curtis and Lisa Copeland South; a step-grandmother: Pearl Gordon; two grandchildren: Andrew Knight and Prestigious Wietholter Tate; and other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
