Douglas Charles Hepburn, son of the late Charles Leroy and Jacobena (Nelson) Hepburn, was born on November 10, 1928 in St. Paul, Minnesota, and passed away on Friday, February 3, 2012 in the Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake, Washington, surrounded by his family. He was 83 years of age.
Douglas grew up and attended school in Minnesota. He served his country in the United States Army.
He was united in marriage to Barbara Armstrong on December 14, 1979.
Douglas was employed as a Design Technician at an oil refinery for several years.
While living in Missouri, they attended the Liberty Faith Church in Norwood. They moved to Moses Lake, Washington in the summer of 2011. While living there, they attended the Lake Valley Baptist Church.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son: Donald Hepburn; and by a daughter: Tressa Eppler.
Douglas is survived by his wife: Barbara Hepburn of their home in Moses Lake, Washington; son and daughter-in-law: Frank and Ellen Hepburn of Athens, Alabama; daughter and son-in-law: Denise and CH (COL) Dean Bonura of El, Paso, Texas (serving as a Chaplain in the United States Army): son and daughter-in-law: Charles and Loretta Hepburn of Moses Lake, Washington (owners of Bargain Town); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and other relatives, friends, and church family who will sadly miss him.
