Dorothy June Yarnall

Dorothy June Sutherland Cooper Yarnall, went home to be with the Lord on January 16, 2009. She was born on June 2, 1923 in Douglas County, Missouri to Earl and Ethel (Barker) Sutherland.
For about thirty years, June was the owner/operator of “June Dairy Freeze and Grocery Store” in Houston, Missouri. She then moved to the Mtn. Grove area until October 2003. Then she moved to Nixa, Missouri where she lived until her passing.
June loved church, painting pictures, making ceramics, traveling and “spending time” with her family and friends. She was a person of great faith. Even though she was given about six months to live in December of 2004, her faith sustained her for four good years. She had asked God that she not suffer and God honored her prayers.
She was a kind and loving person that made friends wherever she went. She was a caring parent, grandparent, and great-grandparent.
June was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Ethel Sutherland of Mtn. Grove; her brother: Lester Sutherland of Mtn. Grove; and her grandson: James Ryan Cooper of Bald Knob, Arkansas.
She is survived by her sons: James Cooper and his wife, Janis, of Bald Knob, Arkansas, and Scott Yarnall and his wife, Lou Ann of Nixa, Missouri; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren;
We all love her and deeply miss her.

Tuesday, January 20, 2009, 10:00 AM, at the First Christian Church in Mountain Grove.
