Donna Jean Tallman

Donna Jean Tallman, daughter of the late Lloyd and Juanita (Allen) Bogeart, was born June 4, 1941 in Macon County, Missouri and departed this life February 10, 2017 in Springfield, Missouri. She was 75 years, 8 months, and 6 days of age.



Donna grew up and attended school in Macon County. She was united in marriage to LeRoy Tallman on February 6, 1960. Three sons were born to this union.



Donna worked as a caregiver. She was an amazing mother who was devoted to loving her family and friends. She was a kind hearted person who had a way of making everyone she came in contact with feel like they were part of her family and walk away with a smile. She also held a special place in her heart for her dog, Peanut.



Besides her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Tallman and one brother, Donald Bogeart.



Donna is survived by three sons, Michael Tallman, Mitchell Tallman, and Matthew Tallman and wife, Heather, four grandchildren, Starla, Whitney, Chelsey, and Dalton, and one great-granddaughter on the way.



The Tallman family would like to offer a special thanks to Dorothy and Brenda for the loving care provided to Donna.


Visitation: Wednesday, February 15, 2017 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home.

Graveside Service: Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Bucklin, Missouri.

Burial: Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Bucklin, Missouri.

A memorial fund has been established in memory of Donna in care of the funeral home.
