Donald "Don" Weber

November 5, 1963 — July 6, 2024

Lynchburg

Donald “Don” Gene Weber was born on November 5, 1963, to Dean and Mary (Barnhart) Weber of Plato, Missouri, and left this world and became present with the Lord on July 6, 2024, following a tough battle with cancer. He was 60 years of age. Don passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at home on his farm in Lynchburg, Missouri.

Don was raised in the Lynchburg and Plato area and attended Plato High School. He was united in marriage to April (Shelton) Weber in 1983 and to this union they were blessed with two children.

Don delighted in being on the farm taking care of land and cattle. He was passionate about hard work, instilling work ethic in his children. He would often be found in the woods running a chainsaw and enjoying every minute of it. He was always happiest surrounded by good food and family which was a regular occurrence around his home as he and April frequently hosted his “Sunday dinners”. Front porch sitting and visiting with friends and family was his favorite pastime.

Don was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Fred and Myrtle (Dowden) Weber; maternal grandparents, Deeroo and Amy (Pearcy) Barnhart; and several aunts and uncles.

Don is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, April Weber; their two children, Jerry Weber of Lynchburg, Missouri, and Kathlene “Kathy” Norris and husband, Logan, of Summersville, Missouri; four grandchildren, Brooks Dean Weber, Baily Dawn Weber, Kaitlyn Mae Norris, and Landon James Norris; parents, Dean and Mary Weber; brother, Bob Weber and wife, Joyce, of Lynchburg, Missouri; niece, Jessica (Weber) Lange and husband, Robert, of Plato, Missouri; great-niece and nephews, Alyssa, Jace, and Cole; as well as several cousins, aunts, uncles, and other loved ones.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Pine Creek Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Missouri, on July 19, 2024, at 6:30 PM with dinner and fellowship to follow. Donations may be made in his memory to Pine Creek Baptist Church.
