Donald Wayne Todd

Donald Wayne Todd, son of the late James H. and Barbara Iola (Chapman) Todd, was born on November 9, 1953 in Sonoma County, California and passed away on May 19, 2007 at his residence in Mtn. Grove, Missouri, following a long illness at 53 years of age.
Donald moved from California with his family to Seymour, Missouri at a young age. He grew up and attended Seymour schools where he lived most of his life. He later made Mtn. Grove his home.
He had been employed as a truck driver and mechanic in previous years. He enjoyed car racing, all kinds of music, hot rods and watching games shows. He collected eagles and beer steins. He had been disabled for many years and had suffered a great deal in his last days.
Donald will be remembered and missed by those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his two sons: James Foster Todd of Seymour, Missouri and Christopher James Don Todd of Eldon, Missouri; two brothers: Clay Todd of Mtn. Grove, Missouri, and Marty Todd of Beaumont, South Carolina; two sisters: Marcella Johnson of Seymour, Missouri, and Melinda Fielder of Mtn. Grove, Missouri; nieces; nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Donald Todd were held Tuesday, May 22, 2007, 2:00 PM in the Craig-Hurtt Chapel with Rev. Frank McCune officiating. Song selections were “Tears in Heaven,” “Mama I’m Coming Home,” and “Go Rest High On That Mountain.” Pallbearers were Clay Todd, Kevin Fielder, Anthony McElroy, Bill Johnson, Dustin Johnson, and Robert Redker. Burial was in the Good Cemetery, Seymour, Missouri, under the direction of the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home, Mtn. Grove, Missouri.
