Don Homer Coble, son of the late Alfred James and Faye (Smith) Coble, was born June 18, 1941, in Mountain Grove, Missouri, and passed away June 23, 2020, at Willow Care in Willow Springs, Missouri. He was 79 years and 4 days of age.

Don graduated from Cabool High School in 1959. He married Linda Phipps in 1962. Three children were born to this union, Blaine, Daryl, and David.

Don had a farm in Highlandville and lived there for 32 years. He was on the Christian County 911 Board and the Highlandville Fire Department. Later, he moved to Vanzant and lived on the place where he grew up. He enjoyed the time he spent raising cattle. He also loved his grandchildren very much and enjoyed spending time with them.

He is survived by his three sons, Blaine Coble (Jullie) of Springfield, Missouri, Daryl Coble (Jane) of Cumby, Texas, and David Coble of Mountain Grove, Missouri, two brothers, Dale Coble (Mary Jane) of Columbia, Missouri, and Lincoln Coble (Debbie) of Vanzant, Missouri, nine grandchildren, Carla, Jennifer, Devin, Callie, Chellsie, Ethan, Braden, Clyde, and Flicia, three great-grandchildren, Emma, Coy, and Cash, and many other relatives, neighbors, and friends who will greatly miss him.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurse who has given him special care over the last two years, Vicky DeVault.
