Doil Wesley Clark, son of the late Ransom and Lusinda (Whitted) Clark, was born on July 24, 1927 in Rayborn, Missouri in Wright County, and departed this life on October 24, 2013 in the Autumn Oaks Caring Center in Mtn. Grove, Missouri, following a long illness. He was 86 years and 3 months of age.
Doil grew up and attended school in Wright County. He worked as an operating engineer in construction for several years.
He was a very detailed and organized man. His tools had a special place in a box or on the wall. He was known as a handyman who always kept his hands busy. He even made his wife a special key holder for her purse.
Doil enjoyed tinkering with gadgets of all kinds.
He was married to Doris (Gilley) Curtis on September 24, 1999 in Twin Falls, Idaho. They enjoyed spending time together and visiting with their many friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter: Dennette Weisweaver; six brothers: Burley, Roy, Ray, Elmer, Jake, and Virgil Clark; and by two sisters: Bessie Long and Jessie Yeager.
He is survived by his loving wife: Doris Clark of their home in Mtn. Grove; two sons: Leon Clark and his wife, Debbie, and Keith Clark, all of Boise, Idaho; one sister: Essie Robson of Mtn. Grove; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; six step-children: Gary Curtis, Sharon Emery, Debi Reed, Shirley Fletcher, Larry Curtis and Linda Curtis; a very dear friend: Lee Gomez in Boise, Idaho; and other relatives and friends who will miss him very much.
