Diane Cooley-Bonnarens

July 2, 1949 — September 18, 2021

Pamela Diane (Goodman) Cooley-Bonnarens, daughter of the late John Chalmer and Zelda Faye (Johnson) Goodman, was born July 2, 1949, at Norwood, Missouri, and passed away September 18, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. She was 72 years, 2 months, and 16 days of age.

Diane was born and raised in Norwood, Missouri, and attended Norwood Schools. She received an Associate Degree in Medical Office Assisting from Vatterott College. Diane worked at French’s Food Company in Springfield and retired from there after many years of service.

She married William “Bill” Bonnarens on August 30, 2021, in Springfield, Missouri. Diane and Bill gave their lives to the Lord and both were baptized on September 12, 2021, along with Diane’s son, Brad, and her daughter, Melina.

Diane seen the good in everybody and always took care of others before herself. She loved her family unconditionally and was proud to be called “Mema” by her grandchildren, whom she adored. She also loved her little dog, Brody.

She loved spending time with family and friends and was always ready for a good fish fry. She would spend hours going to flea markets and garage sales looking for bargains.

Besides her parents, Diane was preceded in death by two brothers, Chalmer “Dink” Goodman and Kenny Goodman, one sister, Pat Bradshaw, and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lem and Irene Bonnarens.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Bonnarens, two sons, Brad Cooley and Fedge Cooley and his wife, Marissa, one daughter, Melina Aldridge and her husband, Tim, six grandchildren, Justin, Ashley, Kylee, Lindsey, Candace, and Shelbie, ten great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends who will miss her very much.
