Denver Ray Lawson, son of Earl Lawson and Betty (Hill) Lawson, was born on May 22, 2002 in Springfield, Missouri and departed this life on Saturday, April 25, 2009 in the Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston, Missouri, following a sudden illness. He was 6 years, 11 months and 3 days of age.
Denver was living in Mtn. Grove and was attending the Mtn. Grove Christian Academy as a first grader. He enjoyed riding his bike, running, fishing, playing in the dirt, jumping on the trampoline and bull riding. He also liked all kinds of animals, especially dogs and cats and loved being outside playing. He lived everyday to the fullest and he never met a stranger.
Denver was a very loving little boy who was always providing helping hands. He will be truly missed by those who knew and loved him.
He was attending the First Christian Church with his mother in Mtn. Grove at the time of his passing. He loved God very much and enjoyed learning Bible stories.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Herbert and Joan Hill.
He is survived by his father: Earl Lawson; his mother: Betty Lawson; his paternal grandparents: Darrell and Lucille Lawson; grandparents: Raymond and Gladys McGownd, all of Mtn. Grove, Missouri; aunts; uncles; cousins; classmates; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Thursday, April 30, 2009 at 2:00 PM in the First Christian Church in Mtn. Grove.
Visitation:
Thursday, April 30, 2009 from 10 AM to Noon in the funeral home.
