Dee Dee Deaton

Dee Dee Deaton, daughter of the late James Richard and Ada Irvilla (LaRue) Deaton, was born July 4, 1955, in Long Beach, California, and departed this life May 31, 2023, at her home near Mountain Grove, Missouri. She was 67 years, 10 months, and 27 days of age.

Dee Dee grew up and attended school in the Norwood, Missouri, area. She graduated with the Norwood High School class of 1973. Early in life Dee Dee loved hotrods and racing stock cars. Over the years she worked for Hutchens Steel and Positronics. After retirement she enjoyed taking care of her cats and visiting with her family, friends, and neighbors.

Besides her parents, Dee Dee was preceded in death by her sister, Susie Friend.

Dee Dee is survived by her three children, Shay Cardin and wife, Kristie, Heath Hicks and wife, Nikki, and Carla Hicks and Adam Shores all of Mountain Grove, two brothers, Ronnie Deaton and wife, Sheila, and Randy Deaton and wife, Karla, all of Mountain Grove, ten grandchildren, Kali Cardin, Lane Cardin and wife, Kinzey, Rylee Cardin, Katie Emmerson, Malissa Hawkins, Michaela Pyatt and husband, Logan, Camron Dunn, Baylee Mings, Hannah Robertson, and Haydence Robertson, six great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives, friends, and neighbors who will miss her dearly
