Deana Rosemary Sprague

June 24, 1973 — March 17, 2015

Deana Rosemary Sprague, daughter of Herbert Dean and the late Zella Faye (Holloway) Calhoun, was born on June 24, 1973 in Mansfield, Missouri and departed this life on March 17, 2015 at her home in Ava, Missouri. She was 41 years, 8 months, and 21 days of age.
She was the loving mother of three children: Morgan, Dustin, and Heather.
For 16 years, Deana worked as a CNA, which she enjoyed very much. Deana enjoyed life by fishing, gardening, and spending every waking moment with her children and grandchildren. She also loved cooking, listening to music, and dancing.
She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and aunt.
Deana was preceded in death by her mother, Zella.
She is survived by two sons: Morgan McGee of Theodosia, Missouri and Dustin Sprague of Fordland, Missouri; one daughter: Heather Hughes of Mountain Grove, Missouri; five sisters: Cindy Calhoun of Cabool, Missouri, Brenda Maggard and husband, Bill, of Mountain Grove, Missouri, Alice Wallace and husband, Ricky, of Ava, Missouri, Alta Billups and husband, Marion, of Ava, Missouri, and Sharon Allmon and her husband, Steve, of Theodosia, Missouri; and two grandchildren: Hailey Lynn and Drake Bazzle.

Your Mother is always with you.

Shes the whisper of leaves as you walk down the street.

Shes the smell of certain foods you remember,

flowers you pick, the fragrance of life itself.

Shes the cool hand on your brow when youre not feeling well.

Shes your breath in the air on a cool winters day.

She is the sound of rain that lulls you to sleep,
the color of a rainbow;

She is Christmas morning.

Your Mother lives inside your laughter.

She is the place you came from, your first home,

and she is the map you follow, every step you take.

She is your first love, your friend, even your first enemy,

but nothing on earth can separate you, not time, not space
not even death.
