Dean Hendrix

Dwayne Dean Hendrix, son of the late Thedford and Gertrude (Olson) Hendrix, was born on February 18, 1964, in West Los Angeles, California, and departed this life on June 13, 2016, at his home in Mountain Grove, Missouri. He was 52 years, 3, months, and 27 days of age.
Dean loved his dogs Jack, Ty Ty and Taco as if they were his kids. He enjoyed spending time with his many nieces and nephews, family, and friends. He liked to go fishing and camping. Dean lived the life he wanted and was who he was. He loved people, was carefree, and partied hard.
In addition to his parents, Dean was preceded in death by one brother: Neil Hendrix; grandparents: Roscoe and Belah Hendrix, and Carl and Julia Olson; a good friend: Jim Yocum; and his dog: Hoss.
He is survived by two brothers: Richard Hendrix and his life partner, Denise Rediess, of Mountain Grove, Missouri, and Byron Hendrix and his wife, Darcy, of Norfolk, Virginia; and one sister: Nancy Newkirk and her husband, Robert, of Algona, Iowa.
