David 'Kenny' Kenneth Ratterree

David Kenneth “Kenny” Ratterree, son of the late David Benjamin and Mable Marie “Dottie” (Hutsell) Ratterree, was born on April 27, 1954 in Wright County, Missouri and departed from this life on September 10, 2009 at his residence in Mtn. Grove, Missouri following an extended battle with cancer. He was 55 years, 4 months and 13 days of age.
Kenny grew up north of Mtn. Grove in the Graff and Manes Communities and graduated from Mtn. Grove High school in 1972. He was united in marriage to Janet Bradshaw on June 1, 1977 in Mtn. Grove. Four children were born to this union.
Kenny worked in home construction and dairy farming for many years. The past several years he drove a truck, transporting grain and milk.
He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed playing golf, softball, hunting and fishing. He also liked bowling and doing activities with his grandchildren and family.
He was a loving and caring son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, co-worker, and friend. He will be truly missed by those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father: David B. Ratterree on February 12, 1991; his mother: Mable “Dottie” Ratterree on March 10, 2001; an infant son: Billy Joe Ratterree; and by one brother: Jimmy Ratterree.
He is survived by his loving wife: Janet Ratterree of their home; two sons: David Ratterree and Sunshine Ratterree of Mtn. Grove and Matthew Ratterree of Frontenac, Kansas; two daughters: Kecia Schrock and her husband, Wendal, and Jeannie Emery and her husband, Chris, all of Mtn. Grove; one brother: Benny Ratterree and his wife, Tammy, of Cassville, Missouri; three sisters: Mary Raper and husband, Jim, of Lamar, Missouri, Marie Ault and her husband, Elmer, of Millbrook, Alabama, and Diana Harrison and her husband, Gary, of Mtn. Grove; a brother in law: Jerry Bradshaw and his wife, Britia, of Springfield, Missouri; nine grandchildren: Trenton Noirfalise, Maecy Noirfalise, Andy Ratterree, Ashton Ratterree, Mikael Ratterree, Mikala Ratterree, Ethan Emery, Madison Emery, and Emma Schrock; mother and father-in-law: Owen Jack and Jean Bradshaw of Mtn. Grove; grandmother-in-law: Reda Gilley of Mtn. Grove; several nieces; nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Saturday, September 12, 2:00 PM in the Calvary Temple Church, Mtn. Grove, MO.
Visitation:
Friday, September 11, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM in the Craig-Hurtt Chapel.
