David Gale Wilson

David Gale Wilson, son of the late Marshall W. and Rosie M. (Temple) Wilson, was born on August 23, 1949 in Wendell, Idaho, and passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at his residence in Mtn. Grove, Missouri. He was 63 years of age.
Dave grew up and attended school in Idaho. He served his country in the United States Army. He entered the service on September 23, 1968 and was honorably discharged on September 10, 1970 as a Sergeant.
He worked in construction, driving a truck and transporting heavy equipment for several years.
He was united in marriage to Annie Tooley on May 19, 2008 in Mtn. Grove, Missouri. They made their home on Richards Drive for the past three years.
He enjoyed being outdoors, especially when fishing, camping, and helping his wife in their flower gardens. They would spend hours getting each flower garden just right.
Dave was a member of the Mtn. Grove Full Gospel Church. He enjoyed attending services and visiting with his many friends and neighbors.
Dave had a special puppy named “Ewok,” who always ran to him when he was in trouble. He knew that Dave would be on his side and protect him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Annie, of their home in Mtn. Grove; his son: Jamie Wilson and his wife, Jennifer, of Ulysses, Kansas; his daughter: Amy Wilson, also of Ulysses, Kansas; three step-sons: James Wilson and his wife, Rhonda, Brian Wilson and his wife, Crystal, and Andrew Wilson and his wife, Colleen, all of Mtn. Grove; a step-daughter: Delsie Wilson of Mtn. Grove; brothers: Chuck Olson of Coffeyville, Kansas and Marvin Wilson of Greeley, Colorado; sister: Debra Wilson-McDonald and her husband, Darrell, and their daughter, Angela, of Olney Springs, Colorado; fifteen grandsons; five granddaughters; one great-grandson; many special nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives, friends, neighbors, church family, and friends in Colorado and Kansas, who will miss him very much.

Burial: Willow Springs Cemetery located north of Mtn. Grove.
