Dante Alfonso Savo

Dante A. Savo, of 9060 W. 13th Road, Mountain Grove, age 85, was born on November 4, 1927, in Bridgeport, Connecticut and passed away on May 23, 2013 at Autumn Oaks Care Center in Mountain Grove, Missouri.
Dante was a lifelong resident of Trumbull, Connecticut and came to live in Missouri with his wife, Viola Savo three years ago.
Dante worked his whole life in construction building roads, and doing excavating work for new homes. He started Savo Construction Company back in 1952 along with his brother Anthony Savo where he continued to work till 1992.
He is survived by his wife: Viola Savo; two daughters: Joan Savo Stevens of Mountain Grove, Missouri and Gale Socci of Lake Worth, Florida; four grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one sister: Florence Savo Turziano; several nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Mr. Savo was cremated under the direction of the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home, Mtn. Grove, Missouri.
