Danny Lynn Tooley

Danny Lynn Tooley, son of Verba Brown and the late Lyle Tooley, was born on April 21, 1955 in El Dorado, Kansas and passed away on August 8, 2014 in Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri at 59 years of age.

Danny went to elementary school in Dora and graduated from Mountain Grove High School in 1973.

Danny never knew a stranger. He was a very generous and giving person, always willing to help anyone in need. Friends and family were very important to him and he made sure they always came first. Danny loved to collect antiques and old cars. He was very proud of his 1969 Fastback Mustang.

Danny was preceded in death by his father, Lyle Tooley.

He is survived by one son: Robert Tooley of Mountain Grove; two daughters: Lacey Wake and her husband, Shawn, of Willow Springs, Missouri, and Evalina Jenkins and her husband, Brian, of Marshfield, Missouri; two step-sons: Shawn James of California, and Shane James of Mountain Grove; one daughter-in-law: Sarah Tooley of Mountain Grove; two brothers: Alvin and Rickie Tooley, both of Vanzant, Missouri; two sisters: Lila Iott of Mountian Grove and Valerie Simpson of Jefferson City, Missouri; two grandchildren: Elizabeth Jenkins and Kalas Tooley; and many other family and friends who will miss him dearly.


Visitation: Tuesday, August 12, 2014 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM in the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home.

Graveside Service: Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at 3:30 PM in the Vanzant Cemetery.

Burial: Vanzant Cemetery, Vanzant, Missouri
