Dan Stephens

Daniel Garrell Stephens, son of late David Stephens and Frances “Tater” (Gragg) Stephens, was born June 1, 1983, in Kansas City, Missouri. God called him home to be with his mother on March 20, 2023, at the age of 39.

Dan was a family man and loved nothing more than spending time with his family and friends and always looked forward to get-togethers. He was a very outgoing guy that loved the outdoors, especially when fishing, hunting, drinking and just having an all-around good time. He loved hanging out with his big brother who was also his best friend, Dave. Dan loved football, with the New England Patriots being his favorite team.

Dan is survived by his sister, Misty Gragg, brother, David Gragg, his daughter, Nikki Townsend, his Aunt, Glenda Akers, his girlfriend, Shelly Giller and their four children, Dominick, Sam, Adam and Gracie. (Dan took on that team when they were in their young ages.)

Dan was also loved by his nieces, Haley, Brooke, Alyssa, Madison and Bailey, as well as his nephews, Little O and Chance.

Private family services are planned for a later date.
