Cynthia Elizabeth (Allen) Fry was born June 29th, 1951 in Washington, North Carolina to Freeman and Hilda Foreman Allen.
Cynthia graduated from Plymouth High School in Plymouth North Carolina in 1969 and attended Free Will Baptist Bible College in Nashville, Tennessee and Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
She married Gary Wayne Fry on May 27th, 1972. Three children were born to this union.
Cynthia was a dedicated pastor's wife and served the First Free Will Baptist Church in Mtn. Grove, Missouri where her husband served as youth pastor from 1972 until 1976 and as pastor from 1981 until 2004. She assisted her husband as he served as Pastor of the Shiloh Free Will Baptist Church in Bratt, Florida from 1976-1981.
She was a dedicated teacher, receiving her teachers degree from SMSU. She spent her entire teaching career at Mountain Grove Christian Academy from its inception until poor health forced her retirement.
She loved her Lord, her family and her church and was selflessly dedicated to all three. She was a talented artist, interior decorator and florist.
She enjoyed working with children and taught Sunday School her entire life.
She will be remembered for her ready smile and willing hand to any who needed help.
She is survived by her husband Gary of Lebanon, MO, her daughter Jessica Gainey and her husband Mark of Nashville, Tennessee; her son Thadaeus and his wife Laura of Ozark, MO and her daughter Katy of the home, three grandsons, Isaac and Tate Gainey and Harrison Fry. She is also survived by her mother Hilda Allen of Plymouth, North Carolina, her brother Mike Allen and his wife Cathy of Louisville, Mississippi, her brother Grant Allen and his wife Joanna of Plymouth, North Carolina and her brother Steve Allen and his wife Denise of Donguan, China.
She was preceded in death by her father Freeman Allen and a grandson, Aden Gainey.
Our lives have been profoundly influenced by her presence. We are anxious for our coming reunion in Heaven!

Monday, December 1, 2008 at 2:00 PM in the First Freewill Baptist Church, Mtn. Grove.
No Visitation:
Friends may sign register book on Monday, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
