Craig Allen Walker

Craig Allen Walker, son of the late Calvin and Donna (Baldwin) Walker, was born on April 24, 1968 in Davenport, Iowa, and passed away suddenly on April 23, 2013 at his residence north of Mtn. Grove, Missouri, at 44 years of age.

Craig grew up and attended school in Mtn. Grove and graduated from Mtn. Grove High School in 1986.

Craig enjoyed being outdoors, especially when fishing.

He worked as a farmhand for Russell and Joan Shepperd and Charles Watson. He loved and respected his employers and was known as a hard worker.

Craig was a kind and helpful person to those around him. He also liked to cook and spend time with his family and friends.

At the time of his passing, Craig was attending the Crossroads of Faith Church near Mtn. Grove.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Craig is survived by his son: Jonah Melton of Mtn. Grove; his daughter: Kyra Walker of Springfield, Missouri; two sisters: Sandy Kolaks and her husband, Josh, of Springfield, Missouri and Diana “Dee Dee” Randall and her husband, Kent, of Mtn. Grove; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
